• New Payment Method: Cash App Pay

  • We’re excited to announce that Cash App Pay is now live as a supported payment method in the United States. Cash App Pay allows consumers to make payments directly from their Cash App balance, bank account, or linked card.

API-wide

• We've introduced a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for enhanced AI code editor capabilities.

Payments

• The bin field now stores the first 8 digits of the card number (Issuer Identification Number, IIN) when available and permitted by the payment network or acquirer. Providing greater issuer granularity. Previously, this field contained only the first 6 digits (traditional BIN).
• The scheduleType field now supports SCHEDULED and SCHEDULED_RETRY, allowing recurring payments to be marked as retry attempts within the dunning cycle. The existing RECURRING value is still supported but will be deprecated in a future version.
